Eligibility



Eligibility for Admission in Grade 9.

  • Students must be between 13 to 18 years of age as on 31st March 2024 (6 months more/less relaxation maybe given)
  • Students should have passed Class 8 from a recognized or government school in the past two years.
  • Final admission of students is contingent on the provision of the mark sheet and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate, submission of which will be done at the time of verification, once a student has qualified the Online Aptitude Test.

कक्षा 9 में प्रवेश के लिए योग्यता

  • 31st मार्च 2024 तक विद्यार्थियों की आयु 13 से 18 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए। (उचित मामले में अधिकतम 6 महीने की छूट दी जा सकती है)
  • विद्यार्थी किसी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से कक्षा 8 पास होना चाहिए।
  • डीएमवीएस में विद्यार्थियों का एडमिशन विद्यार्थियों द्वारा अपना स्कूल छोड़ने का प्रमाण पत्र/स्थानांतरण प्रमाण पत्र जमा करने पर निर्भर करता हैं । ऑनलाइन एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद ही विद्यार्थियों को डॉक्यूमेंट वेरिफिकेशन के समय स्कूल छोड़ने का प्रमाण पत्र/स्थानांतरण प्रमाणपत्र जमा करना होगा।

Steps to Apply



  • Click on Apply in DMVS on https://www.dmvs.ac.in
  • Register with mobile number and OTP
  • Post registration you will receive a registration ID and password
  • Login as existing user
  • Start filling the form - Personal Details, Correspondance details, Candidate details, Preferences and Upload the documents.
  • Save or submit the form.
  • If you save the form, you can re-login, edit and review form later. If you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the same. Post submitting you can download the copy of your application.
  • To view the further steps of admission like entrance exam details, webinar details, selection status etc. login to your existing account using the same login credentials.

  • रजिस्टर के बाद आपको रजिस्टर आईडी और पासवर्ड प्राप्त होगा I
  • "एक्जिस्टिंग यूज़र" के रूप में लॉगिन करें I
  • फॉर्म भरना शुरू करें - व्यक्तिगत विवरण, पत्राचार विवरण, उम्मीदवार विवरण, प्राथमिकताएं, दस्तावेज अपलोड करें I
  • अपने आवेदन को "सेव" या "सबमिट" करें I
  • यदि आप अपने एप्लिकेशन को "सेव" कर लेते हैं तो आप फिर से लॉग इन करने पर उसे एडिट या उसकी समीक्षा कर पाएंगे। यदि आप आवेदन को "सबमिट" करते हैं, तो आपको इसके संबंध में एक पुष्टिकरण ईमेल प्राप्त होगा।
  • आप आवेदन जमा करने के बाद अपने आवेदन की कॉपी डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं I
  • प्रवेश परीक्षा विवरण, वेबिनार विवरण, परामर्श विवरण, चयन स्थिति जैसे आगे के चरणों का विवरण देखने के लिए आप अपने "एक्जिस्टिंग यूज़र" पर अपनी पहले दी हुई रजिस्ट्रेशन आईडी और पासवर्ड भर के लॉगिन कर सकते हैं I

Instructions to Apply



  • Please note that you can submit only one application.
  • You may fill the form in English or Hindi or use audio feature to listen to the options.
  • Please answer each option of the form with correct details.
  • Please refer to DMVS FAQs for clarification on any questions on DMVS or admission process.
  • You may make the changes in form even if you have “saved” the form, till the deadline. Once the deadline is over and/or form is submitted, you will not be able to make any corrections/changes.
  • Candidates applying under the reserved categories should have a valid certificate as per GOI norms. Selected applicants will have to submit their certificate at the time of admission.
  • Reservation to SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and Divyang as per norms by Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
  • Candidates to submit previous class marksheet photocopy and transfer certificate/school leaving certificate after confirmation of their admission in DMVS, at the time of admission.

  • यदि आपने फॉर्म को "सेव" कर लिया है, तब आप आवेदन की समय सीमा तक उसमें परिवर्तन कर सकते हैं। एक बार समय सीमा समाप्त होने या फॉर्म जमा करने के बाद, आप उसमें कोई सुधार/परिवर्तन नहीं कर पाएंगे।
  • आरक्षित श्रेणियों के तहत आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवारों के पास भारत सरकार के मानदंडों के अनुसार वैध प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिए। चयनित आवेदकों को प्रवेश के समय अपना प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
  • शिक्षा निदेशालय, दिल्ली सरकार के नियमों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (गैर-क्रीमी लेयर) और दिव्यांग को आरक्षण।
  • उम्मीदवारों को प्रवेश के समय डीएमवीएस में अपने एडमिशन की पुष्टि होने के बाद अपनी पिछली कक्षा की मार्कशीट और स्थानांतरण प्रमाण पत्र / स्कूल छोड़ने का प्रमाण पत्र जमा करना होगा।
